Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Home-Dispatch's website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Description of Services

Home-Dispatch is a workforce coordination service that connects customers with independent licensed contractors for property maintenance and repair services. We facilitate the matching, scheduling, and payment process but do not perform the work ourselves.

Important Disclaimers

Independent Contractors

All contractors in our network are independent professionals, not employees of Home-Dispatch. They are responsible for their own:

  • Licensing and certifications
  • Insurance coverage
  • Tax obligations
  • Work quality and methods
  • Safety practices and OSHA compliance

Limitation of Liability

Home-Dispatch coordinates work between customers and contractors. While we verify contractor licenses, we do not warranty the work performed. We are not liable for:

  • Quality of work performed by contractors
  • Damages caused by contractor negligence
  • Personal injury occurring during service delivery
  • Property damage beyond our guarantee scope

The Home-Dispatch Guarantee

We stand behind our service with a satisfaction guarantee:

  • Work not completed: We'll dispatch another contractor at no additional cost
  • Quality issues: We'll arrange for correction at no additional cost
  • Still unsatisfied: We'll provide a full refund of our coordination fee

This guarantee covers our coordination service. Disputes about the underlying work quality should be directed to the contractor and their insurance.

Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about property and service needs
  • Ensure safe and reasonable access for contractors
  • Be present or arrange access for scheduled appointments
  • Pay for services as agreed upon booking
  • Communicate any concerns promptly
  • Obtain necessary permits for work requiring them

Contractor Responsibilities

Contractors in our network agree to:

  • Maintain valid Florida licenses and insurance
  • Arrive on time for scheduled jobs
  • Complete work professionally and safely
  • Document job completion with photos
  • Communicate issues or delays promptly
  • Treat customers and their property with respect

Payment Terms

Customers

Payment is due upon booking or completion, depending on service type. We accept major credit cards and ACH. Business accounts may qualify for NET 30 terms.

Contractors

Contractors are paid NET 7 via ACH for completed jobs. Payment is contingent on satisfactory job completion and customer confirmation.

Cancellation Policy

  • 24+ hours notice: Full refund
  • Less than 24 hours: 50% cancellation fee may apply
  • No-show: Full charge may apply

Emergency cancellations due to weather or safety concerns will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including logos, text, and design, is owned by Home-Dispatch and protected by copyright law. You may not use our content without written permission.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved through binding arbitration in Miami-Dade County, Florida, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
