How do I join Home-Dispatch?

Sign up takes about 5 minutes. We verify your FL DBPR license, confirm your service area, and get you in the system. Once verified, you start seeing job matches right away.

Is there a fee to join?

No. It's free to join and stay in the network. We only make money when you make money — we take a small percentage of completed jobs, and you see what that is before you accept any work.

What licenses do you accept?

We work with licensed contractors in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, general contracting, home inspection, mold remediation, and more. Your license must be active and in good standing with FL DBPR.

How do I get paid?

Fast. We pay Net 7 — that's 7 days after the job is completed and approved. Payment goes directly to the bank account you set up in your profile. No chasing invoices.

Can I set my own prices?

Many jobs have fixed pricing based on the work type. For variable work, you'll submit a quote that the customer can approve. Either way, you see what you'll earn before accepting.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Life happens. Let us know ASAP through the app and we'll handle customer communication. Repeated no-shows affect your standing in the network — reliability is how we all succeed.

Do I need my own insurance?

Yes. All contractors must carry their own liability insurance. We verify this during onboarding. This protects you, your customers, and your reputation.

What areas do you serve?

We're launching in Miami — specifically Kendall (33186) and Brickell (33130). Expanding soon. If you're outside these areas, sign up anyway and we'll notify you when we're in your zone.

How is this different from TaskRabbit or Thumbtack?

We're not a gig app. We work exclusively with licensed tradespeople — no handyman tasks that anyone could do. We also coordinate the work and stand behind the match. You're not just getting a lead; you're getting pre-qualified, ready-to-go customers.

What if there's a problem with a customer?

Talk to us. We mediate disputes and protect our contractors from unreasonable customers. We pre-qualify everyone, but if something goes sideways, we have your back.
